Arman Ordian, Personal Representative of the S.G.I.G in the Valley of Palm Springs

Ill. Arman Ordian, 33° was born in Armenia, in the former USSR. After graduating from high school, went to the University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanic-Engineering Science. He continued his education in Moscow where he graduated from The International Creative College "Actis" and became a Bio-Therapist (alternative methods of healing, eastern philosophies, and metaphysics).

 

Arman moved to the United States in 1992 where he lived in Los Angeles, then moved to Palm Springs in 2000. He was in the jewelry business and  owned a jewelry store, Silver Affair, in the Palm Desert Shopping Center and in downtown Palm Springs. In the summer of 2010 Arman graduated from Kaplan College with an Associate degrees of Paralegal Science. He continued his education at the National University persusing a Master’s Degree in Management & Leadership.


He began working for Forest Lawn in 2008 as an Advance Planner-Family Service Counselor. He is currently the Regional Sales Director at Forest Lawn in Coachella Valley. Arman has served on the Board of Directors of The Arthritis Foundation in Coachella Valley (2009-2011) and currently is the Vice Chair Commissioner on the City of Indio Community Commission. He is married to his lovely wife Ofelia. They have three children: Caroline, Alexander, and Anastasia.

  • Served as Venerable Master in 2012

  • Director of 14th Degree Work – 2013-2018

  • Almoner and Assistant to the Personal Representative of the SGIG in the Valley of Palm Springs  2017- 2022

  • Received the 32°, Knight Commander of the Court of Honour 2015

  • Received the 33°, Inspector General Honorary 2021

  • Coordinator and co-founder of the MOS in the Division VIII, serving High and Low

  • Received  the Joe Jackson Award for the MOS achievements (Palm Springs Lodge)

  • Interviewed and published in the Freemason Magazine (February 2017) and the “Leader” monthly newsletter

  • Co -founder of the Desert Daylight Lodge in 2020

  • Past Master 2020 and 2021 and currently the Treasurer in the Desert Daylight Lodge #873

  • Appointed the Personal Representat of the S.G.I.G in the Valley of Palm Springs Scottish Rite 2022
